2 cups sugar plus 5 Tablespoons for topping
4 cups milk
6 Tablespoons flour or cornstarch
4 egg yolks beaten
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp vanilla

4-5 sliced bananas
1 box Vanilla Wafers

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan over low/medium combine sugar,cornstarch,
milk and beaten egg yolks. Bring to a boil
When it thickens remove from heat and add butter and vanilla

Layer vanilla wafers, bananas and pudding in 9x13 baking dish

Beat the egg whites with 5 Tablespoons sugar and pinch of salt
until fluffy. Pour over pudding
Bake 350 degrees until egg whites are brown
