Crust:
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter or margarine

Filling:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
4 large eggs
2/3 c. lemon juice
1 T. all-purpose flour
1 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
4 drops yellow food coloring (optional)
1 T. grated lemon peel
sifted powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. For crust, combine flour and powdered sugar in medium bowl. Cut in butter with a fork until mixture is crumbly. Press lightly on bottom of ungreased 13 x 9 baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes. For filling, beat condensed milk and eggs in large bowl until fluffy. Beat in lemon juice, flour, baking powder, salt and food coloring just until blended. Fold in lemon peel and pour over crust. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until filling is set and crust is golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack. Refrigerate for about 2 hours. Cut into squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar/ Makes 4 dozen bars.
