2 cans (one 20 ounce and one 8 ounce) pineapple chunks
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1 cinnamon stick (3 inches long)
6-8 whole cloves
Dash salt

Directions:
Directions:
Drain pineapple, reserving one cup juice (save remaining juice for another use or discard). In a saucepan, combine the sugar, vinegar, cinnamon, cloves, salt, and reserved pineapple juice. Bring to a boil, and reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.

Discard cinnamon and cloves; add pineapple chunks. Return to a boil; cook and stir for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve warm with a slotted spoon.
