1 head lettuce, torn
½ c green onion, chopped
½ c celery, chopped
½ c green pepper, chopped
1½ c frozen peas, thawed and drained
1 c mayonnaise
½ c sour cream
2 T sugar
2 c shredded cheddar cheese
10 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
8 oz water chestnuts, drained and sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sour cream, mayonnaise and sugar in small bowl. Set aside.

In large bowl, layer lettuce and onion. Spoon ½ of dressing over top of lettuce.

Layer celery, green pepper and peas; spread remaining dressing over top.

Sprinkle cheese over top.

Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours. Add water chestnuts and bacon before serving.
