potatoes
bell pepper
onion
tomato
garlic salt

3 tablespoons butter

Directions:
Clean the duck and cut the meat in small pieces. Brown the meat in oil, drain and put back in skillet. Add thin sliced potatoes, bell pepper, onion, and tomato. Season with garlic salt and pepper. Add butter. Put lid on skillet and simmer about 45 minutes.

Handwritten note on original recipe: Might be better if tomatoes are added later so they won't cook up too much.

Additional handwritten note on original recipe: Might be better if you left the duck out! MOM

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I followed my mother and mother-in-law's habit of writing notes on my recipe cards. Some of my favorite recipes have their handwritten notes on them, making them keepsakes as well as favorite recipes.

We cooked this duck recipe several times but none of us really liked duck. But being a true sportsman, our son wanted to eat what he harvested. The recipe is dated 1993.
