2 pounds ground beef
2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon dry mustard or 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
1 bottle (32 ounce) ketchup
1 large bell pepper, finely chopped
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons pickling spice

Directions:
Directions:
Place ground beef and salt in a large pot and cover with water. Boil until tender. Drain well. Combine and add remaining ingredients (put pickling spice in a tea ball or wrapped in cheesecloth). Cover and simmer on low for an hour. Remove the pickling spice ball.

Recipe can be increased to serve a large crowd.
