4 pounds 3 to 4 inch pickling cucumbers
1 quart vinegar
3 tablespoons salt
1 tablespoon mustard seed
¼ cup sugar

3 1/3 cup vinegar
5 ¾ cup granulated sugar
2 ¼ teaspoon celery seed
1 tablespoon whole allspice

Directions:
Directions:

Wash cucumbers thoroughly and cut into ¼ inch slices. Combine with top 4 ingredients in large saucepan. Simmer covered for 10 minutes. Drain and discard liquid.

Place cucumber slices into hot sterilized jars.

Heat last 4 ingredients to a boil, then fill jars and seal.
