2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp salt
2 sticks butter
1 cup water
3 (or more) Tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
Directions:
Directions:
Combine the first three ingredients in large bowl and set aside.

Bring to a boil the butter, water and cocoa and add to dry ingredients. Next add buttermilk, eggs, vanilla and baking soda.

Bake in 18x12 sheet pan at 350º for 20-30 minutes.
 

Icing
Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 stick butter, softened
3 Tbsp cocoa
5 Tbsp milk

Heat until melted and add to 1 pound of powdered sugar and 1 tsp vanilla extract and combine.

Spread hot icing on hot cake.
