2 c sharp cheddar cheese, grated
3 lg eggs
1 c milk, room-temperature
½ c elbow macaroni, cooked as directed
½ c butter
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Do not preheat oven, start with a cold oven.

Beat 3 eggs with the milk and salt. Add the cheese. Combine the drained cooked macaroni with the milk and cheese mixture. Stir to combine. Pour into 9 inch casserole. Add more milk til reaches up to top ½ inch of casserole. Dot with butter.

Place in cold oven. Turn oven on to 225º. Bake for approximately 2 hours or until golden brown.
