4 slices bacon
2 T sugar
1 small onion, chopped
1 T flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp beef bouillon or 1 cube
¼ tsp celery seed
¼ tsp ground allspice
Dash pepper
½ c water
¼ c cider vinegar
20 oz canned potatoes, sliced (2 cans)

In a large skillet, cook the bacon. Remove to drain. When cool crumble.

Add the chopped onion to the bacon grease. Sauté until translucent. Add the flour. Stir to combine and lumps are gone. Add vinegar and sugar. Stir. Cook til sugar melts. Add the water, celery seed, allspice, salt, beef bouillon and pepper. Stir to combine.

Add the potatoes and simmer for 10 minutes or til potatoes are heated through. Just before serving add the crumbled bacon.

Note: You can also use cooked white potatoes as opposed to canned potatoes.
