1 stick butter or margarine
¾ cup brown sugar (light or dark)
2 tablespoons of evaporated milk
3 ½-4 cups confectioners’ sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Place first three ingredients in a saucepan and slowly bring to a boil and let boil for 1 minute. Cool slightly. To make enough for a 2 layer cake add other ingredients. Stir until creamy and of the right consistency to spread. If this mixture is a little stiff, add milk.
