½ cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg and 2 yolks
2 cups sifted cake flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk and vanilla. Pour into well greased pan. Bake 20-25 minutes. Spoon on egg white topping.
