1 recipe Basic Biscuits (above)
¼ cup (1/2 stick) butter
½ cup sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
Confectioners’ Icing, below

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425°. Lightly grease a 9-inch round cake pan. Prepare basic biscuits, rolling dough into a rectangle, about ¼ inch thick. Brush with melted butter. Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle evenly over dough. Roll up, jelly roll fashion, beginning with long side. Slice into ½ inch slices. Place slices in prepared pan. Bake 18 to 20 minutes. Drizzle with Confectioners’ icing. Sweet Rolls may be baked in greased muffin cups 12 to 15 minutes.


Confectioners’ Icing:
Combine 1 cup sifted confectioners’ sugar, 3 tablespoons milk and ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract; blend well.
