3 sticks butter
6 eggs
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups sugar
3 cups plain flour
1 cup sour cream
1 can flaked coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter. Add sugar, creaming well. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Fold in vanilla and coconut. Grease and flour large tube pan.
Bake at 325º for about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

*This makes a very large cake.
