½ cup butter
1 medium chopped onion (optional)
1 bag frozen chopped broccoli
1 can mushroom soup
½ cup cheese-whiz (use whole small jar)
½ cup milk
1 ½ cups quick cooking rice

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium baking dish, spray with nonstick cooking spray. Add butter and melt in the microwave. Add broccoli and onions (optional), soup, cheese whiz, milk, and rice, stir until mixed well, then return to the microwave for 15 minutes on high

Or you can bake for 30 minutes in the oven at 350º.

If you want to use this recipe for a main dish add diced cooked chicken after the rice and cook as usual.
