4 large baking potatoes
⅔ cup margarine
⅔ cup all-purpose flour
6 cups milk
¾ tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
4 green onions, chopped, divided
12 slices bacon (cooked, crumbled, and divided)
1 (8oz.) carton sour cream
1¼ cups shredded cheese

Wash potatoes and prick several times with fork; bake at 400º for 1 hour or until done. Let cool. Cut potatoes in half lengthwise and scoop out pulp and discard skins. Melt margarine in heavy saucepan over low heat, add flour; stir until smooth about 1 minute. Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat and stir constantly until thickened. Add potatoes, salt, pepper, 2 T. onions, ½ of the bacon and 1 cup of cheese. Heat thoroughly; stir in sour cream. Add extra milk to desired consistency. Serve topped with the remaining onions, bacon and cheese.
