½ lb. butter
5 T sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. pecans finely chopped
confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Cream together butter and sugar. Work in flour, a little at a time, until thoroughly blended. Stir in chopped pecans.

Dust hands with flour. Pinch off small pieces of dough. Roll the dough to form a rope about 1 ½ inches long and a bit thicker at the center than at the ends. Place on a parchment lined cookie sheet and pull ends together to form a crescent. Bake until light beige, around 10 minutes. Remove from oven and cool for a few minutes. Roll in confectioners sugar. Makes 50-60

This recipe was originally found in "Mazel Tov, Y'all" as Almond Horns. I didn't have almonds in any form, so I substituted pecans and rolled them in a plastic zip lock bag until they were uniform in shape.
