1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
3/4 cup chopped pecans
1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
2 cups of all purpose flour
1 tsp of baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups old fashioned oats
2 cups (12 oz) of chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Place coconut & pecans on a 15X10X1 baking dish and bake at 350 for 6 to 8 miuntes until toasted, stirring every 2 minutes.
In large bowl, using a mixer cream butter & sugars until light and fluffy, add eggs and vanilla, beat well, Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to cream mixture, beat well. Stir in oats, choc chips, coconut and pecans.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet ( I usually just bake on parchment paper.)
Bake at 350 for about 12 minutes.
