2 medium yellow onions, sliced
2 T butter
2 cans beef broth
1 lb. Swiss cheese
1 loaf French bread, sliced and slowly toasted in oven
Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté onion in butter in covered pan until clear.
Add beef broth plus 1 1/2 cans water.
Heat to simmer.
In Individual casserole dishes,place slice of bread, slices of cheese, cup or more of soup mixture.
Top with French bread slice sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
Heat in 350 oven until bread puffs up. (Can also be made in one large deep casserole)
