1 ½ c. flour
1 ½ tbs. sugar
½ c. crisco vegetable oil
¾ tsp. salt
2 tbs. milk

Filling:
¼ c. flour
1 ½ c. white sugar
2 tbs. cornstarch
½ tsp. salt
1 pt. heavy (whipping) cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbs. butter or margarine
Cinnamon

Crust:
Sift dry ingredients into pie pan and add oil and milk. Mix into ball and press into 9-inch pie pan. Cover with plastic wrap and chill overnight.
Filling:
Preheat oven to 375º. Combine flour, sugar, cornstarch, salt, and cream in top of double boiler and cook over boiling water until slightly thickened (like pudding). Remove from heat and add vanilla. POur into unbaked pie shell and dot with butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake 10 minutes at 375º. Reduce heat to 350º and bake for 20-30 minutes longer or until lightly browned on top and filling has set.
