1/4 cup Sofrito (See recipe)
1 can kidney or red beans
1 1/2 packet ham flavoring
1 packet beef flavoring
1 teaspoon Adobo Seasoning
1 tablespoon pepper
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
2 cups of water
1 1/4 cup rice

Directions:
Directions:
Use an aluminum pot and metal or plastic spoon.

Saute the sofrito in the pot; add beans and seasonings. Add 2 cups of water and add the rice. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently to avoid sticking.

Cover the pot and simmer on low heat for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
