1 lb. of dry navy pea beans
1 can of campbells tomatoe soup (original)
1 medium onion (chopped)
4 medium red potatoes (cut into small pieces)
2 dry bay leaves
leftover ham with shank bone or small ham butt

Directions:
Directions:
Soak beans over night in large pot of water, drain, and rinse. In large stock pot, cook beans, chopped onions, tomatoe soup, bay leaves, and ham in half a pot of water. Bring to a boil with lid on pot. Reduce heat and cook at medium heat (light boil) for 45 minutes to an hour. Add potatoes and cook for another 15-20 minutes till potatoes are thoroughly cooked. Remove ham, chop into pieces and return chopped ham to pot of soup.
