Pecan pie has never been my favorite ~ but this recipe changed my mind. Try it you will like it.

3 EGGS
½ CUP DARK CORN SYRUP
½ CUP LIGHT CORN SYRUP
½ CUP SUGAR
½ CUP BUTTER, MELTED (This is the secret ingredient)
½ tsp VANILLA
½ CHOPPED PECANS, TOASTED
½ CUP WHOLE PECANS, TOASTED
Unbaked 9” pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Combine eggs, corn syrups, sugar, butter and vanilla in bowl. Beat until well blended using an electric mixer at medium speed. Stir in chopped pecans and pour into unbaked pie shell. Arrange pecan halves on top
Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.

This recipe won several blue ribbons at county fairs.
