Personal Notes:
My mom was a great cook and also knew tricks for easy cooking. This is one of them.
This recipe only works if you have left over roast and gravy.
I grew up eating this stew. So I love it. It was sad to throw away these recipe cards as I entered it in this book. I have had them since I was married. I didn't realize they would hold sentimental value.
I had never cooked before I got married, so I called Mom and asked her everyday how to cook something and I would write it down on a recipe card!! That was 45 years ago. That is a long time to hold on to a recipe card!!
