½ pound ground beef
1 pound ground Italian Sausage
2 Tbls Olive Oil
1 large onion minced
½ tsp garlic powder
1 Tbls minced fresh parsley
½ Tbls oregano
1 Tbls fresh basil
1 #2 can tomato puree
2 #2 cans solid pack tomatoes
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
1 pound mozzarella cheese
1 pound dry packed Ricotta Cheese
¼ cup grated Romano cheese
1 pound lasagna noodles
5 quarts water
1 Tbls oil

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef and sausage in a large saucepan with oil, onion, garlic powder and parsley.
Add tomato puree, mashed tomatoes and seasoning. Simmer 1 hour

Cook lasagna noodles for 5 minutes in water. Drain
Arrange in layers in a long casserole pan:
Lasagna - sauce - mozzarella cheese - Ricotta cheese.
End with a cheese layer. Sprinkle with grated Romano cheese

Bake 350º for 30 minutes or until bubbly.

Serves 8-10 people
