1 tsp salt
1 C. Crisco Shortening
8 TBS ice-cold water

Directions:
Sift together flour and salt. Cut in shortening. Add water. Shake in covered bowl. The dough is sticky - never touch dough without plenty of oil or flour on hands. Roll between 2 sheets plastic wrap. Place into pie plate (carefully removing plastic wrap) and trim edges. Bake pie shell 15 minutes at 375 degrees. Cover edge of crust with tinfoil before baking so it doesn’t get too brown.

Makes 2 shells or 1 two-crusted pie.
