Personal Notes:
This is a coffee cake that my mother-in-law taught me how to make. It was a Hayes
family tradition, especially at Christmas time and remains a family favorite, which has been passed down from her to me and from me to my daughters. It was my
daughter's idea to bake it in a cupcake tin rather than a baking pan. The result was
the making of a new tradition!
