Gnocchi |
Ingredients: |
Ingredients: 1 1/2 - 2 cups Mashed Potatoes Flour (as needed) 2 eggs 1 clove of garlic
Directions: |
Directions:Mix ingredients & make an ever so slightly sticky dough. Roll into a "snake" of dough about 1 1/2" thick. Cut into 1/2" pieces. (run down fork times to make lines for sauce to cling to is optional also) Boil pieces (about 20 at a time) for 3-4 minutes and drain.
(For added texture, do a quick fry on it to create a slight crisp on the outside.) To quick fry, add a dab of butter in skillet and toss the gnocchi thru until it browns up a bit on the outsides.
***Gnocchi can be used in other sauces like spaghetti, Alfredo or even in a sweet sauce as a dessert*** |
