1 cup butter
1⅓ cups sugar
2 eggs
4 cups flour
t tsp soda
1 tsp ginger
½ tsp anise extract
¼ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp salt
½ tsp cinnamon
½ sorghum
½ tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Work all ingredients together and roll into little balls - usually about the size of a walnut.
Put on cookie sheet and bake at 300º degrees for 9-10 minutes.

Completely cool and store in covered container when not serving

These are little brown Danish Christmas Cookies that have sort of a ginger-spice flavor.
I have never made them because you can buy them everywhere in Denmark: Ikea Stores, Trader Joes
and online. But for the record - this is how they are made.
