In Medium Bowl
1C.Water
1C. Chopped Dates
1 tsp. Baking Soda

In a Large Bowl
Cream together
3T. Margerine
1 C. Sugar
2 Eggs
Beat, gradually add
1 1/3 Flour
1 tsp Vanilla

Along with the first Date mixture can add b1/2 Walnuts
Directions:
Directions:
Grease & Flour 9"square pan, preheat oven 350 degrees.
Add Medium bowl mixture to Large Bowl mixture.
Place in greased baking dish
Bake 30-40 Min.
