Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 box (16-18 oz.) strawberry cake mix
1 pkg (3 oz.) instant pudding mix- cheesecake flavor
4 eggs
½ cup milk
½ cup oil
2 tsp. vanilla
10 oz. pkg strawberries frozen or fresh, thawed and pureed.
few drops of red food coloring (Optional)

Strawberry Cream Cheese Frosting:
1 (8oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
½ cup butter, softened
½ cup pureed strawberries
1 tsp. vanilla extract
4 cups confectioners' sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix cake mix and pudding mix together. In a separate bowl mix together eggs, milk, vanilla and oil. Combine and Beat together until smooth. Gently blend in strawberries and food coloring. Divide batter evenly into prepared cake pans and bake according to package directions. 2 or 3 round cake pans work best. When a toothpick or a knife is inserted into the center of cake and it comes out clean, cake is done. Cool on wire rack before tapping out. Go around pan edges with a butter knife to loosen cake. Put cake upside down on a plate, give a little tap on top and around edges until cake slides out.
2. For frosting- beat cream cheese and butter, add vanilla and strawberries, mix in confectioners' sugar ½ cup at a time until desired frosting consistency. Frost first cake, put a little extra frosting on top (This is the middle layer of the cake) then put second cake on top and finish frosting. Dipping the back of a spoon in water makes spreading the frosting a little easier. Garnish with fresh strawberries.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Because of the additions to the cake mix, you will have much more batter than normal. Make sure you do not overfill your baking pan. You only want to fill it 1/2-3/4 full. It will rise during baking.
DO NOT get the cook n' serve pudding mix. This will not work, it's completely different than the instant pudding mix. DO NOT prepare the pudding, just use the dry powder.
If cake batter isn't desired pink/red color, you can add a few drops of food coloring into the batter.
