Ingredients:
Giblets (inside turkey in the sack)
1 medium onion
1 tsp chicken bullion
2 tsp salt

1 lb Bob Evans pork sausage

2 loaves of white bread
2 Tblsp of sugar
1/2 tsp of salt
2 tsp of poultry seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
Boil in 1.5 quarts of water the giblets (neck, liver and heart) from the turkey along with the medium chopped onion, bullion and salt. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1 hour. Cover and cool. Remove giblets from broth when cooled.

Brown and crumble 1 lb of Bob Evan sausage.

By hand break up bread in small pieces and place in large bowl. Add cooled, browned sausage, sugar, salt and poultry seasoning. Chop the liver and heart and add to the mixture. Slowly add the cooled broth, mixing by hand until everything holds together and is moist. Do not get too wet. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Put mixed dressing inside turkey to bake with turkey. Stuffing that does not fit in turkey can be baked in a covered casserole at 350 for 1 hour. (can also be placed in crockpot and cooked on low)

Personal Notes:
I sat with Mom and had her make this in the 1970's as it wasn't wrote down anywhere. Since Mom cooked most things by taste... you can adjust the flavor by taste while making this. ~ Katie
