5 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
1 cup butter (2sticks)
3 eggs
½ tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
1½ cup sugar
2 TB. Milk
Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add butter and mix until crumb like. (I put mine in mixer.) In small bowl, mix eggs, baking soda, vanilla, sugar and milk. Beat until fluffy. combine egg mixture with flour mixture and chill in refrigerator for at least 15 minutes. Roll and cut into shapes. sprinkle with colored sugar. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes.

These cookies can also be frosted, just do not sprinkle with sugar. Cool and frost.
