1 cup soft butter
2 cups sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Mix thoroughly
2¼ cups sifted flour
¼ tsp salt
1 cup finely chopped nuts

Directions:

Mix together:
1 cup soft butter
2 cups sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp vianilla

Sift in:
2¼ cups sifted flour
¼ tsp salt

Mix in 1 cup finely chopped nuts.

Chill the dough, then roll into 1 inch balls.
Place on ungreased baking sheet.

Bake in 400º oven 10-12 minutes until soft but not brown.
While warm, roll in powdered sugar Allow to cool and roll in sugar a second time.

Makes 4 dozen. Since they do not spread out, almost the entire recipe will fit on 1 cookie pan.
