1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup mashed, ripe bananas (about 2)
2 cups sifted flour
¼ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
2 cups rolled oats

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Grease cookie sheets

Cream together butter and sugar.
Add eggs, mixing until well blended.
Mix in bananas.
Sift together flour, nutmeg, salt, baking powder and soda.
Add dry ingredients to banana mixture, mixing thoroughly.
Blend in oats.

Drop dough from teaspoon onto cookie sheet.
Bake 10 - 15 minutes or until done.
Cool and top with powdered sugar icing, if desired.
