1 pkg. (2-layer) chocolate cake mix
1 pkg. (8oz) cream cheese, softened
1 egg
2 tbsp. sugar
48 mini Oreo bite size sandwich cookies
1 1/2 c. thawed cool whip whipped topping
Directions:

1, preheat oven to 350 degrees

2. prepare cake batter in large mixing bowl as directed on package, set aside

3. whisk cream cheese, egg, and sugar in small mixing bowl until well blended

4.scoop cake batter, in each of 24 paper muffin cups. filling each cup about 1/2 full

5. spoon 1/2 tbsp. of cream cheese mixture over batter in each muffin cup. top with 1 cookie. cover evenly with remaining cake batter.

5. Bake. 19 to 22 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. cool for 5 minutes, remove from pans to wire rack. cool completely.

6. top cupcakes with whipped topping and remaining cookies just before serving.
