2 apples
1 pie crust
cinnamon
4 tbsp brown sugar

Syrup:
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Peel apples, cut in half, and remove core. Cut pie crust into quarters and place an apple half on each piece. Sprinkle apple halves generously with cinnamon and top with 1 tbsp brown sugar. Bring the pie crust corners together to wrap the crust around the apple half. Place on a baking pan lined with parchment paper and bake for 45 minutes at 350º. For syrup, bring water, sugar, and cinnamon to a boil. Remove from heat and add butter. Serve dumplings with ice cream and top with syrup.
