"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Ingredients:
28 oz. Can Hanover Pork and Beans (Or 3 smaller cans)
1 Medium Onion, Diced
½ Green Pepper, Diced
1 Celery Stalk, Diced (Optional)
2-3 Tbsp. Molasses
½ Cup Ketchup
1 Tbsp. Mustard
6 Hot Dogs
5 Slices of Bacon (Cut in half)
Pinch of Red Pepper
1-2 Drops of Tobasco (Optional)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Dice vegetables and slice hot dogs. In a 2 qt. casserole dish pour beans, vegetables, hot dogs, molasses, ketchup, mustard, a pinch of red pepper and tobacco sauce. Mix all together, well.
2. Layer uncooked bacon slices on top of casserole. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes covered and 30 minutes uncovered. If there's too much grease on top from bacon, just grab a tablespoon with a coffee cup and very lightly press down and scoop off excess grease from top into cup.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I never measure the ingredients I just eyeball and mix. Papa Hodges would always ask for Nunu's Baked Beans. They always made a great holiday side with ham or even a summer get together dish.
