Beef Stroganoff Recipe

Nancy Flynn Medin & Jim Flynn


2-3 lbs steak sliced into 1½ strips (I use sirloin)
4 onions finely chopped
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3 cups red wine or beef bouillon
1 4-oz can sliced mushrooms
1 pint sour crème
Flour, Season with salt, pepper paprika to taste

Sprinkle steak with seasonings and flour.
Cook onions & garlic slowly with olive oil until mushy but not brown.
Dust meat with flour and brown on both sides.
Add wine/bouillon, cream of mushroom soup and onion mixture.
Simmer on low heat until meat is tender.
Add sour cream and mix in to beef mixture.

Serve over egg noodles or rice.
