3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon salt
20 ounces strawberries
1 ¼ cups vegetable oil
4 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon red food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

In a large bowl combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, sugar and salt.

Reserve ½ cup juice from strawberries. Make a hole in the center of dry ingredients and pour juice in hole. Add remaining ingredients and stir. Add 1 teaspoon red food coloring and stir.

Pour in floured and greased loaf pans. Bake at 350º for 1 hour.

I send this recipe in honor of my son, Karl Keesee. He made this in homemaking class in high school. I have made it at Christmas every year since. He was a DPS Sergeant. He was killed in October 2015.
