Mix well and boil for 5 minutes the following:

½ Cup Sugar
½ Tablespoon Argo Cornstarch
4 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
¼ Cup Water or Juice from Beets (Nana uses Beet Juice)
2 Tablespoons butter or salad oil.
Then add one Number 2 Can of sliced beets (drained)

Let stand over a low heat until throughly heated.
