1 (6 oz.) can evaporated milk, divided
1 (14 oz.) package caramels
1 (6oz.) package semi-sweet morsels (Ghirardelli)
¾ cup melted butter
1 (17-18oz.) package German or Swiss chocolate cake mix
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
In top of double boiler, stir together ⅓ cup evaporated milk and caramels. Cook over hot water, stirring often, until mixture is smooth; set aside. Stir together cake mix, melted butter, remaining evaporated milk and nuts. Press half of dough into bottom of greased and floured 13"x9"x2" baking pan. Bake in 350ºF oven for 6 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate morsels on baked dough and top with melted caramel mixture. Crumble remaining dough over top. Return to oven and continue baking 15-18 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
