Ingredients: |
Ingredients: 6 cups water (for creamier grits use milk or 3 cups milk and 3 cups water) 1 1/2 cups Quick Cooking Grits Bring liquid o a boil in a large sauce pan. Add grits and reduce heat to medium-low. Cover. Cook 5 to 7 minutes until thickened stirring occasionally Remove from heat
When done add:
1 lb. Velveeta cheese (cut up) 1/2 cup butter (cut up) Stir until melted and let partially cool
Add: 3 beaten eggs 3 tsp. Savory Salt or Season All 1 or more drops of Tabasco to taste Optional: 1 tsp Paprika sprinkled on top of casserole

Directions: Stir and pour into a greased (Pam spray) 9 X 13 baking dish. Bake for 1 hr & 10 min at 350 º till done. May cook ahead and reheat in microwave to serve. |
