1 cup sugar
3/4 cup corn syrup
1/2 stick butter or margarine
3 eggs
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1 9" deep dish pie crust

Directions:
Directions:

Cream butter & sugar. Beat eggs lightly and add to butter & sugar. Add salt, syrup, pecans and vanilla. Pour into crust and bake on cookie sheet for 15 minutes at 400 degrees, then reduce heat to 350 and bake another 35 to 45 minutes. Bake on rack low in oven. Cover edge of crust to prevent burning.
