Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cubes unsalted butter, room temperature (or in microwave x 20-30 sec until soft)
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp kosher salt
1- 3.9 oz pkg instant vanilla pudding (just the powder-not cooked)
2 1/4 cups flour
18 oz chocolate chips (12 oz if you prefer less choco chips)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350.
Cream the butter and the 2 sugars (I use a metal pastry blender and cream it by hand instead of using a mixer-this makes them more dense and less fluffy).
Add the eggs, vanilla, baking soda, salt and vanilla pudding. Mix until well blended.
Add the flour and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.

Bake for approx 10 minutes-this time varies from 9-12 minutes depending on your oven. Take them out when they are barely brown and sl raw in center for soft cookies.
Enjoy!

Makes approx 3 dozen.
