Musaka Recipe

1 large eggplant - peeled and sliced inch thick
2 large onions - chopped fine
2 cloves garlic
2 - 3 large potatoes - peeled and sliced inch thick
2 pounds ground beef OR 1 lb. lamb & lb. pork
6 eggs
1 pint sour cream
Bread crumbs

Salt eggplant and let stand a while.
Bread eggplant with flour and fry til brown. Drain on brown paper.
Also fry potatoes until golden - drain.

Fry onions and garlic in olive oil until crystal and soft.
Add meat and brown. Season to taste

Beat eggs and add sour cream - Beat again until blended

In a baking dish, put a layer of potatoes and meat in baking dish
Pour some of egg mixture over top

Layer eggplant, more meat and rest of egg mixture.

Sprinkle with bread crumbs
Bake at 350 for 1 hour until firm.
