6 pound Prime Rib roast
Garlic Cloves
Salt, pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cut garlic cloves into slivers.
With roast fat side up, cut slits in fat/meat and insert garlic slivers...
Salt & pepper on all sides and rub in with hands
In a foil lined roasting pan, place roast on rack Rib sides up

Cook approximately 17-18 min per pound for medium rare
* Can insert a meat thermometer if desired.

Remove from oven, tent roast with foil, and let stand 15 minutes.
Carve and enjoy served with Horseradish Sauce on the side.

Sauce: Horseradish mixed in equal parts with Sour Cream.

This is the traditional Flynn Family Christmas Dinner, served with potatoes, green beans, asparagus, fruit salad etc. and followed with Ris ala Monde dessert.
