2 cups of soft butter
1 pint of soft vanilla ice cream
4 cups flour
2 tbsp. sugar
2 cans (12 oz. each) cake and pastry filling any flavor
1 to tbsp. confectioners sugar

Directions:
Beat butter and ice cream until blended. Mixture will appear curdled. Add flour amd sugar and mix well. Divide the dough into 4 portions and cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until easy to handle. On a floured surface roll one portion of dough into a 12 x 10 inch rectangle. Cut into 2 inch squares. Place 1 tsp of filling in the center of each square. Overlap the opposite corners of dough over the filling and pinch tightly to seal. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Repeat with rest of dough and filling.

Bake at 350ºfor 11 to 14 minutes or until the bottoms are lightly brown. Cool for 1 minute before removing from the pans to a wire rack. Sprinkle with powered sugar is desired.
