1 lb raw shrimp
7 T butter
1 c beer
2 tsp lemon juice
½ c clam juice, bottled
1 tsp black pepper
¼ tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried rosemary
½ tsp dried thyme
1 tsp cayenne pepper

Combine dry seasonings and set aside.

Wash, shell and devein the shrimp.

In a large skillet, melt butter and add dry seasoning mix. Cook until bubbly and fragrant. Add shrimp, stir, coating the shrimp with the seasoned butter. Cook 1 minute.

Add beer and clam juice and cook 2-4 minutes (depending on the size of the shrimp).

Add lemon juice and cook 1 more minute. Serve in bowls with crusty bread for dipping in the butter sauce.

This makes a lot of BBQ sauce, to make enough for 6 increase to 2 pounds of shrimp. No adjustment needed in sauce.
