½ cup butter
4 cups mochiko (glutinous rice flour)
2 cups sugar
2 tsp baking powder
4 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
flour (for making the mochi non-sticky)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Melt the butter in the microwave.

In a large mixing bowl, combine mochiko, sugar, baking powder, milk, and vanilla extract.

Add the melted butter and mix until the batter is smooth.

Pour into a 9x13 inch pan and bake at 350º for 45 minutes.

Let cool and cut the mochi into small squares or bars.

Roll the little pieces in flour to make them non-sticky.

Enjoy!
